“When I stood for election as a Trustee of the Society, little did I know how much I would fall in the love with its work, its people and the wonderful properties in its care. The Society has recently been through some troubled times, but I passionately believe in its potential to be a leading light in the social and economic life of our beautiful county.”
Amanda Jones, Trustee and Chair of Council

“The Sussex Archaeological Society has played a hugely important role in the county for over 176 years. As well as supporting research, we care for extraordinary properties that span thousands of years of our collective past, shining a light on events of local, national and international importance. When I joined the Society, I was struck by the ambition of the organisation. There is real drive and determination to ensure it thrives for many years to come. Experienced, supportive and strategic trustees will be crucial in helping shape that future.”
Leanne O’Boyle, Executive Director
