With many households struggling due to the cost-of-living crisis, Sussex Past – the trading arm of The Sussex Archaeological Society, a registered not-for-profit charity – is launching a new campaign to promote its range of remarkable properties to local families and visitors.
From just £52 a year, those with children aged up to 16 can visit six special sites for 12 months a year – with properties including the remarkable Fishbourne Roman Palace; the majestic medieval moated island at Michelham Priory; and the imposing Norman fortress at Lewes Castle & Museum.
A range of family-friendly activities are taking place at Sussex Past sites during the summer months, with drop-in activities provided by our award-winning Educational Team throughout the week.
Sessions will run at Lewes Castle & Museum on Monday and Thursdays; Tudor Tuesdays at Anne of Cleves House; Wednesdays at Michelham Priory and Thursdays at Fishbourne Roman Palace. Full details are on our What’s On page.

Family membership for one adult and up to three children costs £52 a year. For two adults and up to four children the costs is £80 a year – about £6.70 a month.
Existing members are able to add young people on to their individual or joint membership for just £5 a year.
