Shop Volunteers – Michelham Priory House & Gardens
We’re looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for visitors at Michelham Priory House & Gardens. As a Shop Volunteer, you’ll ensure the shop is well-stocked, tidy, and inviting, helping visitors find unique gifts and souvenirs that enhance their visit.
You’ll confidently handle sales, operate the till accurately, and complete cashing-up at the end of each day. Alongside this, you’ll respond positively to visitor enquiries, providing helpful information about the shop, the site, upcoming events, and venue hire options.
No previous experience is needed – training will be provided – but you should be comfortable working in a busy environment, either independently or as part of a team. If you enjoy engaging with people and contributing to a positive visitor experience, this role offers a great opportunity to get involved in a unique heritage setting.
