The Sussex Archaeological Forum
The Sussex Archaeological Forum
Hosted by the Sussex Archaeological Society, the forum brings together archaeology and history societies, curators and units, all actively involved in archaeology across Sussex.
Meeting several times a year, it’s a forum to share news, progress on long-standing projects and future plans for research and contract archaeology.
It is also an important place to raise issues and bring together different organisations for effective advocacy.
By helping to facilitate the Forum, the Sussex Archaeological Society, is proud to play a part in working towards effective communication and high standards of heritage practice in the county.
This page provides links to minutes and updates from recent meetings of the Forum.
Much fieldwork is undertaken in Sussex by amateur groups, as well as commercial units. Click here to view a round-up of archaeological activities happening across the region.
