Our specialist library of Sussex archaeology and history is situated on the top floor of the Barbican House Museum next to Lewes Castle.

Online access is available within Barbican House Library to some of the journals to which the library subscribes.

Practicalities: The library is on the second floor of Barbican House. Access is via the stairs only, but there are ground floor facilities available with advance notice. Visitors must make themselves known and sign in at the museum reception desk.
