Our Trustees – Paul Griffiths

| Paul is Chief Executive of the Association for Cultural Enterprises, the UK’s membership organisation for museums, heritage, and cultural organisations, supporting over 400 members to achieve financial sustainability through innovation, enterprise, and collaboration.
He has nearly 30 years’ experience in the heritage and cultural sector, including senior leadership roles as Director of Painshill Park Trust, where he led a major organisational turnaround and growth in visitors and revenue; at the Mary Rose Trust, contributing to the launch of the new museum; and with English Heritage, overseeing a portfolio of historic sites and public programmes. Paul has served as Vice Chair of the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and as a trustee and advisor to a range of cultural and visitor attraction charities. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Southampton Solent University in recognition of his contribution to Heritage, Tourism and Conservation. Paul is passionate about cultural enterprise, visitor engagement, and ensuring heritage organisations are both resilient and relevant for future generations. |
