  1. ADVANCE TICKET SALES: Guarantee entry by purchasing tickets in advance online. Tickets purchased in advance are cheaper than purchasing on the door.

  2. TIMESLOTS: To minimise queues and crowds, we ask you to book an arrival timeslot for your visit to England’s Medieval Christmas Fayre. You can arrive at any time during your booked timeslot, and once on-site are welcome to stay as long as you wish.
  3. EVENT DAY SALES: Ticket sales on event days are subject to availability as there is a limited site capacity. While pre-booked tickets guarantee entry and are cheaper than on-the-day tickets, those who wish to pay on the day will be required to make their way to Arlington Stadium in the first instance and use the Park & Ride shuttle bus provided to attend the event. Payment for parking is £5 at Arlington Stadium, and admission tickets can be purchased upon arrival at Michelham Priory.
  4. PARKING TICKETS: All vehicles require a parking ticket for General Parking at Arlington Stadium (£5 per car including shuttle bus service) and Blue Badge holders (free but must be pre-booked). These can be booked when purchasing admission tickets to the event.
  5. GENERAL PARKING: There is NO general parking at Michelham Priory. All Visitors will be required to ‘Park & Ride’ from Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway) and take the Shuttle Bus to Michelham Priory and back.  Address: Arlington Stadium (Eastbourne Speedway) Arlington Road West, Hailsham BN27 3RE.
    Pushchairs are welcome on the shuttle bus as long as they can be folded.
  6. SHUTTLE BUSES: Buses will be running throughout the day between the parking location and Michelham Priory, and back. (9.30am to 6.30pm).
  7. BLUE BADGE PARKING: There are limited dedicated parking spaces for visitors displaying a Blue Badge at Michelham Priory. Free parking ticket required – pre-booking is recommended due to limited availability. Pre-book when purchasing your admission ticket.
  8. ACTIVITY TOKENS: Activity tokens can be purchased online (discounted when pre-purchased) or on-site as a card of five tokens or individually.
  9. CHILD’S CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE: A special ticket just for children 3-12 years old. It includes Entry to England’s Medieval Christmas Fayre PLUS: Gingerbread cookie/man decorating; Reindeer Food Making for Santa’s reindeer; Letter Writing – Write a letter Santa, and Post it to the North Pole; Christmas Crafts – Tree Ornament Making or Christmas Artwork; and a choice of Brass Rubbing; Children’s Archery & Axe Throwing; the Snowball Launch; Rolling Reindeer ride; and Marshmallows for Roasting!
  10. CHILDREN ENTRY: Children under 2 years old are free entry.
  11. GROUNDS ACCESS: Gardens, ground floor of the house, barn and courtyard area are all accessible. Wheelchair ramps provided where necessary. Outdoor pathways are gravel. As it is an outdoor and indoor event, please come prepared for all weather conditions.  Disabled toilets on site. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for use at Michelham Priory, contact michelhamfoh@sussexpast.co.uk to pre-book.
  12. DOGS: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Please be aware, this will be a busy event and some dogs may find this distressing.
  13. OPEN FIRES: There will be some open fires, so please take caution around them.
  14. REFUNDS: Ticket sales are non-refundable unless you have purchased Ticket Protection at the time of booking your ticket online (please read the rules and terms for refunds).
