Hilaire Belloc, illustrious poet (and wine-enthusiast!), is your host for the evening as he introduces us to three other writers to celebrate some of Sussex’s best-loved poems and the stories behind them. Expect tales of wartime, cruel crime, revenge and a little bit of rhyme celebrating the joy of life as we take an informative and entertaining trip through dramatic stories and verse.
Each performance is for a small group of 30 in the historic setting of the Marlipins Museum with a cast of four talented actors. Written by Ethan Taylor. Produced for Shoreham Wordfest by Half Time Orange Theatre.

Getting here
The train station is a five-minute walk from Marlipins Museum. Buses stop in the High Street, close to Marlipins with the 700 route between Portsmouth and Brighton running every 20 minutes. Car parking and coach parking are available in the town with the Pond Road (Shoreham Centre) and Middle Road car parks the most convenient.
