Draw the ancient classical muse goddesses that inspired our modern-day museums and the iconic modern muses who inspired artists and designers.

This imaginative illustration and still life workshop takes place the weekend of International Museum Day at the unique setting of the 12th century Marlipins Museum in Shoreham-by-Sea, with its inspiring collection of historic artefacts and objects.

The workshop combines the art of still-life drawing with fantasy illustration, utilising pencils, pastels, and charcoal to learn techniques that bring these mythical creatures to life on canvas.

Suitable for adults and students aged 16+, this workshop welcomes all enthusiasts of illustration, drawing, and fantasy art.

All materials will be provided; simply bring along an apron, a soft drink, and a snack to fuel your creativity.

For more information on travel and accessibility, check out the Marlipins Museum ‘Plan Your Visit’ section on our website.
