Tuesday 14th October

Join us for our first Autumn Talk of the season, as we welcome Daryl Holter, Heritage Crime Officer for Sussex Police

We are all custodians of our heritage – past, present and future. Too often we take it for granted, forgetting that we walk on it, drive through it and fly over it every day. Heritage gives us a sense of identity, community, belonging, and continuity. It is constant, priceless, and deeply woven into our culture and traditions. But when it falls victim to crime or neglect, it is our shared responsibility to defend and protect it. This talk with a heritage crime officer will explore how communities can work together to safeguard our historic environment, ensuring that future generations can rediscover, experience and interpret both the old and the new. Together, we can preserve our past.
