Sussex Past and Brighton & Hove Buses have partnered to encourage sustainable travel while helping visitors enjoy two of Lewes’ most historic attractions for less.
Simply arrive by bus and show a valid Brighton & Hove Buses ticket or bus pass (physical or digital) when purchasing your tickets on arrival to receive 50% off standard admission.
Lewes is served by the following routes:
- Route 28 runs from Brighton, Lewes and Ringmer to Hailsham and Eastbourne every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday.
- Route 29A runs hourly from Heathfield to Uckfield, Lewes and Brighton.
The journey from Brighton to Lewes takes around 20 minutes, making it a quick and easy day trip.
Brighton & Hove Buses also offer a range of great-value tickets, including the networkSAVER, which allows unlimited travel across their network all day. Family, couple, youth and small group tickets are also available through the Brighton & Hove Buses App, making it easy to plan and pay for your journey.
How to redeem
To receive your discount, simply present a valid Brighton & Hove Buses ticket or bus pass when you arrive at the ticket desk at Lewes Castle & Museum or Anne of Cleves House.
