Apply for support with your career in archaeology
Starting out on your career in archaeology? You could get support for your studies or research via The Sally Christian Fund.
Created in memory of Sally Christian, who developed her passion for archaeology as a mature student, this Fund supports students or early career heritage professionals conducting archaeological research or study related to Sussex.
Administered by The Sussex Archaeological Society, grants are awarded in spring and autumn and total £2,000 per year.
You can apply to The Sally Christian Fund for a range of different activities and costs – including support to attend conferences, research projects, publication costs, field trips or purchase of equipment.
The key thing is that you must be at the start of your career in archaeology to qualify.
Applications must be received by Wednesday 25th October at noon.
