Join the Friends of Anne of Cleves’ House for an evening exploring one of the most intriguing royal portraits of the Tudor age.

Taking place on Friday 22 May at 7.30pm, the event features two short talks inspired by Hans Holbein the Younger’s famous portrait of Anne of Cleves. Michael Conlon KC presents an illustrated talk, Hans Holbein and the Flanders Mare, followed by Eleanor Conlon’s talk, Dressing Anna.

Was King Henry VIII tricked into marrying her? Did the ladies of the Tudor Court secretly laugh at their new Queen?

This is a fundraiser hosted by the Friends of Anne of Cleves’ House.
