Emma Long is a heritage professional with a background of managing large object moves within the sector. With degrees in Classics and Classical Archaeology, she enjoys working in the heritage sector looking after historic buildings and collections and bringing stories and experiences forward for the public to enjoy. She has worked for The National Trust, looking after heritage properties, the V&A, and is currently the Head of Collections Management (Interim) for the Science Museum Group, based at the Science and Innovation Park in Wroughton, the home of the Science Museum’s stored collections.

As well as having a passion for the heritage sector, Emma also enjoys a wide range of hobbies including pottery, crochet, and treading the boards singing and dancing with amateur dramatic groups.
