Highdown Big Dig 2025: Initial Results
In July this year, a major community excavation was undertaken by Worthing Museum, the National Trust and Worthing Archaeological Society at Highdown Hill. The first investigation of the site since 1988 produced some intriguing results, which will rewrite the history of this important site. James will talk on these findings, and the potential for future work in the coming years.
James is the Curator of Archaeology at Worthing Museum and the Project Director for the Highdown Big Dig 2025.
