Wander through the Castle grounds for a festive Christmas market featuring stalls from local makers, delicious seasonal food and drink, live music, performances, and plenty of festive cheer. Inside the museum and shop, enjoy free entry and discover unique Christmas gifts for all ages.

At the heart of the evening is the 12 Stars Christmas Trail, guiding visitors through local shops and landmarks, plus the Christmas Wish Tree (in Cliffe precinct), where people can write a wish or message to hang on the tree – creating a joyful and positive space for the town throughout December. Complete the 12 Star Trail, find the stars, and decipher the Christmas phrase to enter the raffle for a chance to win brilliant prizes. Raffle Prizes include one year’s family membership of Sussex Past!

Visitors can also join the online photo competition by posting their most festive trail selfie with #LewesStarTrail – the most-liked post wins a prize! Completed trails provide entry to the raffle via three sites on the trail: Lewes Castle & Museum, Seasons, and Soulfit.

And for tired feet, Get Bikery will be offering free festive rides on their decorated electric cargo bikes – ideal for families travelling between stops.
