Step into the world of ancient Rome with a week of hands-on themed activities at Fishbourne Roman Palace – home to some of the finest mosaics in Britain. Explore our stunning recreated Roman gardens, wander through remarkable mosaic floors, and even dress up like a Roman as you enjoy a different creative experience each day:

Mosaic Monday
Be inspired by the Palace’s world-class mosaics and craft your own Roman-style designs

Tasting Tuesday
Discover the flavours of the past with Roman-inspired bread making and food-themed activities

Woodland Wednesday
Learn about Roman Britain’s natural world through wildlife crafts, with clay tile activities

Thumb-Pot Thursday
Create traditional Roman-style thumb pots, learning how everyday pottery was made 2,000 years ago

Fashionable Friday
Try Roman spinning and weaving, then craft your own decorative jewellery inspired by ancient fashions
