Here you will find some further information to help you to plan your visit as well as information that will be useful during your visit.
We recommend that you make a planning visit, which is free of charge. Please bring your booking confirmation with you to ensure free entry. A pre-visit will enable you to carry out a risk assessment and to plan the self-guided elements of your visit. We are very happy to meet with you during your planning visit and show you the workshop rooms. Please let us know in advance when you are likely to arrive.
- Fishbourne Safety Information sheet to help you in writing your risk assessment.
- Site Map for schools of the site at Fishbourne Roman Palace
- Making the most of your visit – notes for teachers
- Notes for adult helpers
- Goody bags If you don’t have time to shop but would like the children to have a souvenir of their visit, we can arrange goody bags to collect during your visit.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions meaning that only one school will be present on the site per day, the minimum number of children required for a school booking is 30. If the number falls below this, even on the day, we must still charge for 30 children as the minimum to cover the costs of this day. We appreciate your understanding at this difficult time, which has resulted in this change in our usual practices.
