Accessibility: all visitors are welcome, but due to the nature of this historic building access for visitors with mobility difficulties are limited to the ground floor level. There are portable ramps to facilitate access where possible. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Refreshments: Anne of Cleves House cafe and Tudor Tea Garden is open to visitors and non visitors to the museum and is open:
Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm
Sunday & Monday 11am to 4.30pm
There is seating both inside and outside in the Tudor Tea garden. It is advised that groups book ahead to avoid delays.
Our bread and scones are baked using flour ground by our watermill at Michelham Priory. Where possible we use vegetables and fruit grown in our kitchen garden & orchard at Michelham Priory or in Fletching, Sussex.
Local area: Lewes Castle is nearby, as are Southover Grange Gardens and the remains of Lewes Priory. Lewes lies in the South Downs National Park.
