Garfield Weston Foundation supports Marlipins Museum

The Garfield Weston Foundation, one of the nation’s leading grant-making trusts, has recently supported the Society’s historic Marlipins Museum in Shoreham-by-Sea with a generous grant of £7,500.

These funds will go towards the museum’s urgent roof repair project, which we are undertaking to protect both the fabric of the historic building and its priceless collections. Several other charitable trusts have also supported this project, and we are now more than 75% of the way to reaching our fundraising target.

If you are interested in making a contribution towards this essential project to protect one of the nation’s oldest secular buildings, please contact Christian Kriticos, Fundraising Officer for the Sussex Archaeological Society, at or on 01273 486260.

The Society is extremely grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation for their generous support for Marlipins Museum, as well as all of the charitable work they do supporting over 1,500 charities across the UK each year.
