Friday update:11th September 2020

  • Michelham Priory House & Gardens:  Open 10:30 ‒ 17:00 seven days a week with timed tickets available on arrival for entry to the house. Café offering take away service, shop open.  Dogs welcome on short leads from 13:30 each day. Watermill closed until spring 2021.
  • Fishbourne Roman Palace & Gardens: Open four days a week, from Saturday to Tuesday 10:30 – 16:00.  Café offering takeaway service.
  • Lewes Castle & Museum: Open three days a week, from Friday to Sunday 11:00 to 16:00 throughout September. Please note that some parts of the castle and museum galleries will be closed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
  • The Priest House, Marlipins Museum and Anne of Cleves House Museum: Closed until further notice.

Soceity’s AGM

The Society’s AGM will be held via Video link tomorrow, 10.30am Saturday 12th September and will include the introduction of the newly elected Trustees. Thank you to all those members that took the time to vote.

Lewes Castle continues to light up Lewes’s skyline as part of Artwave 2020 (5th-20th September).
Enjoy Tim Minter’s bright sequenced LED patterns on the South Tower and Bleepshapes’ projection across the Barbican. Tim Minter is a Brighton based electronic artist and programmer working at the intersection of whimsical art and product design. Bleepshapes is a Lewes-based motion design project focusing on geometric forms
