Summer crafts at Fishbourne: Clay Oil Lamp Making

There are Roman craft activities every Thursday in August at Fishbourne Roman Palace.

On Thursday 11 August, make a decorative clay oil lamp like the ones used to light the palace 2,000 years ago using replica Roman moulds.

Other activities include; make game boards and counters – clay counters for round merrils, colouring in, games and dressing up.

Try all of the activities above for just £1 per person (pay on the day), in addition to your admission to Fishbourne Roman Palace.

No booking required and all ages welcome.
