A special workshop just for Valentines!

Jo, our Learning Officer, will be running a workshop giving you a chance to create your own ‘sweetheart pincushion’ based upon the ones made by soldiers in the Crimean and First World War. Whilst all the kit you need will be provided, these can be personalised with scraps of materials, buttons, pins, ribbons or even small pictures to truly represent the special person in your life. No sewing skills necessary.
This workshop will be taking place in our 14th century Gatehouse, tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
