Step back in time and explore the spooky history of Halloween at Michelham Priory this October Half Term!

Join us for a variety of autumn, Halloween and history-inspired activities this October Half Term.

Our wonderful volunteers are hosting a range of activities throughout the week to keep all ages busy.

Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th October: Enjoy a day of autumn crafts, perfect for celebrating the harvest season

Wednesday 30th October: Take part in crafts and experience a unique storytelling session, “Journeying Through ‘The Black Death‘ with Wilfred”

Thursday 31st October: Take part in crafts and experience a unique storytelling session, “Journeying Through ‘The Black Death‘ with Wilfred”

Friday 1st November: Join us for storytelling with Wilfred as he takes you on a journey through the Black Death, along with fun craft activities
Experience the ancient festival of Samhain, exploring artefacts and learning sword techniques to fend off spirits. Discover the Bellarmine Jug, design your own, and drop a trinket in for luck. Get creative with quill writing for spells and a witch’s brew recipe. Plus, make pom-pom spiders and broomstick witches to take home!

Saturday 2nd November: More autumn crafts, perfect for celebrating the harvest season

Sunday 3rd November: Finish the week with crafts and Wilfred’s captivating Black Death storytelling

Take our Harvest Hunt walk around our delightful grounds to spot signs of Autumn. Can you spot a squirrel munching on nuts, a shiny conker, or some crunchy fallen leaves?

We invite children and their families to come dressed in their favourite Halloween costumes!

All activities are free (donations welcome), and best of all, two children go free with a paying adult!*

*Kids Go Free Offer – Up to two children can enjoy free entry with a paying adult from Saturday 26th October to Sunday 3rd November (closed on Monday). This offer cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions and there must be at least one paying guest per two children. Pre-booking is encouraged. When pre-booking, simply purchase tickets for the paying members of your group, and eligible children will be granted free entry upon arrival.
