We are delighted to have SISATA Theatre returning to Lewes Castle this summer with a one day only production of FERAL. A new piece of writing touring the South of England for the first time. Do not miss your chance to see this enchanting new Gypsy Folk Musical on Sunday 7th July in the Gun Garden. Doors open at 6pm for picnics and the show will start at 7pm.
Based on a true story FERAL is tale of a runaway adolescent who experiences an urgent wanderlust, a call of the wild so overwhelming that they feel irresistibly drawn outdoors, abandoning home for the wild grip of the near landscape. In this new drama, Simone, a young woman in her late teens, is haunted by a call of the wild. For several weeks she has been subjected to elemental, powerfully disturbing impulses – a pull like a strong electric current, an intuitive incitement to leave home and to journey. She has no idea why this is happening, nor where she might travel. The magnetic draw of nature and the landscape is overwhelming and inexplicable and comes to her in a series of mental storms which are increasing in ferocity. These primal sensations excite, bewilder and frighten her. Join us for an evening of music and folk law and discover the enchanting journey of Simone and her call to the wild.
With incredible live music from musician Hui Hue and harpist Caolan Walpot the show is not to be missed. Tickets cost £10 per adult and £8 per child or concession. To book your tickets please click here.
Please bring your own chairs and blankets for the production, no chairs are available at Lewes Castle. The production will take place outside in the Gun Garden surrounded by the beautiful flower boarders and stunning castle ruins. The show will go ahead even if it rains.
