Families: What does an Archaeologist Do?


This holiday workshop looks at the role of archaeologists and how they help us to understand life in the past.

Using objects from our museum collections they can try a variety of techniques including digging, sorting, classifying, describing and drawing.

Ages: four to eight.

Time: 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon or 2 to 3.30 p.m.

Cost: £6.00 per child. Booking is essential.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
