Christmas at the Priory –

Weekends in December – 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th December

Travel in time through the house’s 800-year history, to witness how former residents celebrated Christmas – from the Tudors’ evergreens to the Victorians’ ornamental displays and colourful paper chains in bedrooms which housed evacuees during WWII.

There will be Christmas crafts linked to the era in each room, tasty Christmas treats in the café and some beautiful Christmas gifts available in the Dovecote Gift shop.

From our visitors

"Incredibly stunning place. You get a medieval feel and can imagine being there as a King. They have done well to keep it like this and would highly recommend"
