Visit to the excavations at Bridge Farm Romano-British Settlement, near Barcombe Mills

This is a visit to see this very important excavation in operation with an introduction to the site, tour of the excavation and a visit to the finds unit. Bridge Farm is a unique Roman-period site in the local area, originating in the late first century AD, being enclosed by defensive earthworks in the late 2nd century and lasting to the mid-late 4th century.
