Getting to Michelham Priory: the nearest town to Michelham Priory is Hailsham. Please see here for a map of the local area, and here for a bus service map for East Sussex.  The nearest train station is at Polegate which is approximately 5 miles from Hailsham.

Parking: there is a large car park adjaecent to Michelham Priory and parking is free.

Refreshments: the Courtyard cafe is available for refreshments and you are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the gardens.

Toilets: there are free toilets on site.

Accessibility: the gardens, ground floor of the house, cafe and  Elizabethan barn are all accessible to visitors with mobility difficulties. We also offer loan wheelchairs and have a dedicated disabled toilet. Sensory tours are available by prior arrangement; please call 01323 844224 to book. Braille guides are available and assistance dogs are welcome.

Local area: Michelham Priory lies in the Cuckmere valley and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, walking and cycling trails such as the Cuckoo Trail.
